14 killed at immigration services center [news.yahoo.com]

May the memories of the reposed be eternal, may their families be comforted, and may those who were wounded and those who were psychologically traumatized (in a country where many likely considered themselves safer than in their own homelands) be healed and restored to trust in the land of their adoption.

Eternal memory!

May the Lord be merciful in His judgement upon the departed souls.

May the Lord be compassionate and bring healing to these people who remain in this world and suffer because of this horrible, sad tragedy.

Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on those left standing.
May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
May those family members, who were so full of hope in their future, find their hope in you Jesus, for you alone are their Provider. Make safe haven for them Jesus in your heart, that they will find perfect rest through the power of your Holy Spirit.

Lord have mercy on all souls involved in this massacre tragedy...something which is becoming all too common in these evil times...

May our Lord God have mercy, especially on the soul of Mary, forgiving her all her sins at the time of her untimely and unprepared death. Kyrie Eleison!

untimely and unprepared death

I'd heard about a prayer often used in the time of the Viking raids in Western Europe centuries ago:

"From a sudden and unprovided death, deliver us, O Lord."
