Hi everyone. I just received my first copy of "The Word" yesterday. It is published by the Antiochian Orthodox Church and from what I understand is available free to all members of the AO Church. It's quite good and the articles are very well written. One thing I am delighted to see is in the back they have a list of devotional readings for June - Bible sections. I've floundered with this and I'm glad to find a place to see it listed clearly for me. As a former Evangelical, I really hate to lose that part of my daily devotions.
Anyhow, just wanted to mention this well done magazine.

The Word (both the current issue and issues going back to December 2005) can also be downloaded in PDF format from this website: http://www.antiochian.org/theword

I agree it's very well done. It looks like a wonderful tool for catechesis and evangelization.

The Word has long been an informative publication, well worth reading both for news of what is happening in the Antiochian Archdiocese and for inspirational and informative articles.

Many years,

Neil
