I wrote a month or so ago about my grandmother having to go in to get a double mastectomy, the surgery for this is this Friday. Please keep her in your prayers, her name is Harriette Ellis. To all the priests on the forum if you can remember her in the liturgy that would be greatly appreciated.

Prayer Before an Operation
Almighty God,
you know her inmost being,
the secrets of her body and soul.
Fill her heart with trust,
even as she may fear,
and bless the surgeons and nurses
and all who work to help her
with gifts of healing and care.
Be near,
gently sustaining her,
and supporting them in their skills.
Amen. +

Prayers for Harriette and the surgery she must endure. Please grant, oh Lord, courage and full recovery to her. Amen.

AMEN!
Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on Harriette and the family.

She just told me today that her surgery is scheduled to be at 7 am (Pacific Time). For those of you who will be up at that hour on Friday, please take a moment to say a prayer for her.

Please pray for Mother Cecile in Toronto - she's been feeling poorly. She's still at home, but at age 86 anything is serious.

Fr. Serge

Yes, this is so true at that age especially. Praying for her.
