Hey, Pavel:

Perhaps you would like either to come out with whatever is on your mind; or better yet, just let it go.

If it's information you want, then write to the monastery directly. If, instead, your goal is actually to plant and cultivate seeds of suspicion - how very good of you!

I can tell you that the innuendo that you posted in a previous thread about HRM has diminished my interest in supporting them. And you reinforce that disinterest with your subtle postings in this thread.

Why should someone's repetative inquiry on the same subject make anyone's interest in supporting the monastery diminish?

The Bishop wrote a letter of apology to the monastery stating that he had another obligation.

Holy Resurrection Monastery is canonical and was well attended by many laity and priests from our Eparchy.

Withdrawing support due to suspicion by mere questions on an Internet discussion board does not make sense. Especially when the supposedly suspicious questions are coming from someone that isn't even in our Eparchy!

Support Holy Resurrection Monastery and don't give in to conspiracy theory non-sense. God is doing great things there and I for one will not stop supporting them.

In Christ, Michelle

Anyone have any photos yet? (Besides those already posted?) I didn't see any on the monastery's website yet.

I'm sorry ... I have been so busy lately and will be in Detroit from Friday until Tuesday so I probably won't have the pictures uploaded until Wednesday.

Susan, do you have yours uploaded yet?

So sorry, folks. frown

Holy Resurection Monastery is one of the best happenings in the Byzantine Catholic world in recent times and a great source of spiritual nourishment for many in the USA and other places.
It is great that so many make the effort to go on pilgramage and no doubt they are blessed for making the effort. It is only natural that people who are not going to be able to get to an event ask the normal questions of who was there and what the weather was like etc. Many thanks to those who have shared their expereinces of their pilgramage with the rest of us. I hope some pics will be shared at a later date like last year.
