Thank you all, dear friends.

The birthday cake next to my posts gave it away (as was called to my attention last night, too late to do anything about it).

We did a bit of celebrating on Sunday. Today was a quiet and uneventful day, interspersed with telephoned birthday wishes from my children and their significant others.

James, please wish Debbie a belated very happy birthday for me and many more years.

Amado, old friend (and take the 'old' as you will biggrin - as memory serves, you, James, and I are all turning about the same page on the calendar), I'm especially glad to get wishes from you since it's been so long since we've seen a post from you. I pray that you're well.

May God grant all of you many years in health and happiness and thank you for the kind wishes and the friendship you have all extended to me - some for many years now.

Neil
