Pan-Orthodox Society for the Advancement of Liturgical Music, PSALM, has posted the dates and location for the 2011 west coast Seminar:
Friday, February 11, 2011 at 8:30am - Saturday, February 12, 2011 at
7:00pm St. Seraphim Orthodox Church, Santa Rosa, CA

If you can get there, go! smile

I saw the announcement on their Facebook [facebook.com]

See photos here from two years ago [facebook.com] at St. Seraphim where you can also see the fresco project [gsinai.com]. The final photos are from last year at St. Lawrence [slocc.com]

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the seminar last year.

It strikes me that Greek Catholic Churches should either form their own variant of PSALM, or seek to join with it.

It is an ideal time for us to be together. smile Our Russian Catholic parish has participated in these seminars in past years. Because of the location last year only my husband and I went. I do expect most or all of our choir will be at this one in 2011. Any good excuse to go to St. Seraphim's and see their so beautiful evolving frescos! smile
