Christ is Born!

See amid the winter's snow
Born for us on earth below
See the tender lamb appears
Promised from eternal years
Hail thou ever blessed morn
Hail redemption's happy dawn
Shout for all the world to hear
Christ is born in Bethlehem!

Indeed Christ is born. At mass this evening the priest gave a wonderful homily but began with this:

Q: Do you know God's name?

A: Andy

Q: Andy? Why is that?

A: Because it says so:

Andy walks with me, Andy talks with me, Andy tells me I am His own.

Really, the homily related a story about the priest's profoundly disabled nephew named Andy but the introduction was cute.

Merry Christmas. Holy Peace be with you and yours.

Jim
