I saw this article on Zenit and thought it was nice.

Ukraine Seminary a "Mantle of Our Lady"

LVIV, Ukraine, AUG. 29, 2005 (Zenit.org).- Thousands of faithful took part in the inauguration of the Greek-Catholic Seminary of the Holy Spirit, in Lviv.

Cardinal Lubomyr Husar, head of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, called the seminary a "gift from God" for the country's reviving martyr-Church.

Together with 19 bishops, including Church leaders from Australia, Brazil, France and the United States, as well as some 50 priests, the cardinal concelebrated a solemn Divine Liturgy on Sunday, the feast of the Assumption of Mary, according to the Eastern liturgical calendar.

In his homily, Cardinal Husar said that this seminary "is not just a building," but a "mantle of Our Lady, under whose protection a new generation of priests will be led into the third millennium."

The new seminary is the largest in Ukraine, with 226 men preparing for the priesthood. The charity Aid to the Church in Need has contributed more than 4 million euros for their formation.

James,

I think it's safe to say that Dr. Roman has been every forum member's mentor in one way or another!

Pyrohy,
