A couple of pictures I liked that I took of St. John the Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS. back in November. It is a historic, ethnically Croatian parish with a beautiful interior. Exterior [ flickr.com] Interior [ flickr.com] Next door is a museum dedicated to the various groups that settled Kansas City. It is a former house that later served as an orphanage staffed by an order of nuns.

Very nice! Does this mean that you've recovered your previous Flicker account (I hope)? A blog entry conatining a lot of history about this Latin Croat parish and with some additional photos can be found here [curmudgeonkc.blogspot.com]. Many years, Neil
"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."
