Thought this was an interesting video:


You can hear the Italian bishop explaining the Twitter process to His Holiness. I particularly like this video because it shows the Pope for what I believe him to be: an extremely gentle, intellectual, and intellectually interested individual. At his age you can still see the way he lights up at being introduced to a new subject. I also think Pope Benedict's emphasis on new-technology evangelization is encouraging, forward-looking, and "progressive" in the best possible sense of the term.

Also, today is the 60th anniversary of His Holiness' ordination to the priesthood (at my age, 24!). Ad multos annos!
