What do you call those icon shrine things that are found in Byzantine Churches?

Someone said they were called Kioks(sp) [pron. key-auk]

The look like a bit of a free standing wall, with a roofy shaped top and have an icon in the middle (as if a section was taken from the iconostas and set up in various places around the temple (esp. in front of the north and south kliros).

help anyone?
thanks.

I have seen them in Russian Orthodox churches and in a Greek Orthodox monastery. It's just another place to venerate icons. At least that is what I think.

Kiot

(Russian; from Greek kibotos, “wooden drawer”; also bozhnitsa), a decorated wooden cupboard or folding frame for icons.
