Trying to change signature

Yesterday I tried to put a signature in my profile but I kept getting an error message. Even if I only put 1 character, it says "You are using 1 of the allowed characters. You must shorten your signature length." I tried again just now, with the same result.

Has this happened to anyone else?

If I remember correctly - and it's possible that I don't wink - you no longer can add a signature.

The only ones that can still be seen are those that were set up a long time ago before the restriction came into being
