Wasn't sure where to put this but I just wanted to say hi. I just got approved by the admin folks.

I've been lurking though for several hours and this seems like a nice place to hang out.

Like many on here, I'm interested in crossing the tracks and becoming an Eastern Catholic. But I have SO much to learn so I'll try and hold off on the million and one questions I have right now.

Jeff,

Indeed, as Bob said, welcome to the forum.

We're always glad to expand our member base in (for us) far-flung corners of the world. As memory serves, we only have one other active member from the Land of the Rising Sun - Father Paul (Koroluk), a UOC-KP priest from Tokyo.

Many years,

Neil

Shlomo Jeff,

Welcome, which Eastern Catholic Church are you looking at joining? Most are represented here or we have people who are knowledgeable about them, please feel free to ask.

Fush BaShlomo,
Yuhannon

P.S. I my salutation is in Syriac-Aramaic. I myself am a Maronite.
