"Aye...so in 2013 we are no longer to have faith? The year of apostacy?

Every year should be a year of faith, and hope, and charity."

Wow, what a sad attitude to a world wide opportunity to address the sad state of faith in so many human lives.

The Biblical message invites believers to times of Jubliee to enrich the faith life of the community. I am thankful that the Universal Pastor is faithful to the living faith that has been given to us to continue.

At the Byzantine Churches in North Huntingdon and Herminie, we pray the the Prayer for the New Evangelization before every Divine Liturgy and will be offering many faith enriching programs. Join us in celebrating the Year of Faith. www.bcchnh.org [bcchnh.org] "You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church"

Pastor Thomas, you are in my prayers!!!!!!!

Well, even though "Year of Faith" would be good, to get everyone motivated in returning to faith for years after that, then what? We need something to get everybody back on a more permanent basis. Now how are we going to campaign to address that?

The Lord promised He would NEVER abandon His church. Those of us who believe must understand our situation and do what we can, the Lord will do the rest. Only He can truly touch hearts.

Sounds fair. Although I've been attending every time I was supposed to, both according to the Latin Rite calendar, as well as the Byzantine Calendar, I'm sure that this will indeed be safe for the years to come.

Thank you for the link to that beautiful prayer...it may be appearing in our weekly bulletin very soon.
