The left of center side of the political spectrum should not be conflated with the 'sturm und drang' opinions often heard here and elsewhere. The real world is more complex and more easily distorted in rhetorical terms.

I'm not sure of your point. Could you elaborate? And yes, I have read the links and do know what Sturm und drang means or generally so.
