Slight correction - the Assyrian Apostolic Catholic Church of the East (to give its full title) is not part of the Oriental Orthodox "family of Churches" - they accuse this Church of Christological heresy, and have harrassed this Church in any number of ways, even quite recently. Incognitus

The Orthodox Information Centre features a lot of interesting articles, it's a good site but you must keep in mind that its owners, are linked to schismatic jurisdictions not in communion with World Orthodoxy. Now they are more moderated, but they have attacked Orthodox hierarchs in the past, without proofs. If I'm not mistaken, they're people who converted from Evangelical Protestantism and jumped from jurisdiction to jurisdiction because no Orthodox jurisdiction was as Holy and wise as themselves! They brought their Protestant anti-papism with them, so they do not reflect the views of the Orthodox.

The Orthodox Christian Information Center should not be considered as a valid source of information on Orthodoxy. While there is some good information on that website most of the information they provide regarding Catholics actually distorts both Catholic theology and historical events. It is the classic case of setting up a false straw man only to knock it down. It is very much like the classic Protestant apologetics for stating We all know Catholics worship Mary as God and heres why they are wrong. There are numerous valid and credible sources of Orthodox Teaching on the internet that would be better.

I highly recommend the book Orthodox Fundamentalists: A Critical View by John W. Morris (published with the blessing of Metropolitan PHILIP of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese) (Light-N-Life Publishing, Minneapolis). The book is a response to the fundamentalists who run the OrthodoxInfo website. In his foreword Metropolitan PHILIP states: [W]e are faced with those who would reduce this faith, once and for all delivered to the saints', to the strict observance of rules, regulations, as the Pharisees did in Christs time. When these rules, regulations and canons are applied and followed in the spirit of love and compassion, or are not applied because they are outdated, they are to our benefit and salvation. When they are merely the following of a certain code or law, however, they lead to spiritual death. St. Paul himself said in his second letter to the Corinthians while speaking about the law, The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Fr. Morris speaks clearly about this sect that considers itself walled-off in resistance from the errors of the rest of Orthodoxy. I strongly suggest that those who are interested in learning about Orthodoxy go to people who are mature in the Orthodox Faith. Always beware of people and organizations who define themselves by what they reject in others rather than what they profess.
