Are there any Traditional Eastern Catholic/Eastern Orthodox/Oriental Orthodox lay organizations out there that meet regularly and enrich each other? I know about Orientale Lumen - but any groups that are local and in parishes?
I'm tired of the old charismatic practices being imported from pentecostalist Latin groups. I'd be open to help start one if anyone is interested - Deacon Sabbatino you around?!

The Orthodox have a number of them, organized by jurisdiction with local, parish chapters. Captioned as "youth" organizations in their nascent years, they evolved into sort of a service organizational model (like Kiwanis or Rotary clubs in the secular world). Here are a few links to: ACROD's "ACRY": http://www.acrod.org/organizations/senioracryUOCUSA's "UOL": http://www.uol.orthodoxws.com/OCA: "FOCA(formerly FROC)": http://www.orthodoxfellowship.org/Their model of providing a place for inter and intra parish fellowship and service to their respective diocesan structures has been exemplary for most of the post war era.

Any Eastern friendly Latin/Western Traditional groups - in union with the Church - Catholic or Orthodox.
