St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church of Lansing posted yesterday:
a message from Deacon Paul Leonarczyk, Chancellor of the Eparchy of Newton, "Sayidna had an attack while visiting Warren, MI, for the Eden to Eden Conference; he was taken to the E.R. where medical examination revealed an infected gall bladder. God willing, he should be released from the hospital on Wednesday, and he anticipates convalescing in Detroit until next week. May Christ, the Divine Physician, guide the hands of the surgeon and grant Sayidna Nicholas full health of soul and body." You can leave get-well messages for him with the secretary at Our Lady of Redemption Church, 586-751-6017.

Update on Sayidna Nicholas Samra from St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church of Lansing [facebook.com]:

Quote
Thanks be to God, Bishop Nicholas' surgery went well. He was released from the hospital yesterday and is recovering at Our Lady of Redemption parish in Warren, MI. After a check-up with his doctor on Monday, he hopes to return to Boston on Tuesday. God grant him many years!
