I've just taken a close look at the tone 5 Theotokion, in Ukrainian and English ('Synodal' translation, from Sheptytsky Institute Anthology). The English texts is missing some words. Below is the Ukrainian texts followed by the English from the Anthology.
Богородичний, глас 5: Радуйся, двері Господні непроходимі,(1) * радуйся, стіно і покрове тих, що прибігають до Тебе, * радуйся, пристане, бурями не навіщувана * і подружжям незаймана,(2) що родила плоттю Творця Твого і Бога. * Молитись не переставай за тих, що оспівують * і поклоняються різдву Твоєму.
Theotokion, tone 5: Rejoice, O impassable door of the Lord!(1) * Rejoice, O rampart and protection of those who have recourse to you! * Rejoice, O tranquil haven and Virgin, * who gave birth in the flesh of Your Maker and God! * Fail not to intercede for those * who sing and worship the Child you bore.
(1) This phrase is not included with music (p. 347) but is given on pg. 471, opposite of the Ukrainian.
(2) This phrase is is present in both the Patriarchal and 'Synodal' Ukrainian translations, but not in the 'Synodal' English. The Erie prayerbook translates this phrase as "O thou who knewest not wedlock". Is this omission just an error which has been repeated (missing from the 1988 bi-lingual Liturgy book), or a conscious choice? I'm not sure which of those two I find more disturbing.
