mum had a fall this afternoon, huge gash on forehead. she's in A&E now, been stitched up, no broken bones. she'll be going for a scan next. please keep her and my father David in your prayers.

update: dad's freaking out, mum's calmly rosarying away. mum's basically fine, but staying overnight awaiting scan results. dad & i heading home, enough excitement for one day, picking her up in morn.

It's tough to see one's partner in life hurt. It reminds us of our mortality and the possibility that one day we may be alone without that one. May the Good Lord comfort your father.
