Figuratively.

Alex, If the current demographic trends continue, Russia with be a predominately Muslim country by the end of the century. The current demographic trends show that Christians are declining by 0.6%/year and Muslims increasing by 0.6%/year.

Dear Administrator,
Fair enough, but news stories about this have tended to interpret the establishment of this mosque as something ordered by the Russian government itself (with the suggestion that there is a propaganda tag to it).
Also, as you have said before, only 5% of the members of the ROC attend Church - isn't that already something that either must be somehow addressed and/or indicative of a major failure by someone somewhere?

With the greatest respect: And yet the Moscow Patriarchate refuses to revisit any of the reforms called for by the commissions preparing for the Synod that elect Patriarch Tikhon in 1917: e.g., translating the Divine Liturgy and other services into modern Russian, serving with the Royal Doors open, to name but two.
