I have to laugh how leaders lie to their people and then say that others are lying.

I know of an American woman who said that her son is in the air force and was sent to Syria to bomb ISIS. When he got over the target, the planes were instead told to not dare bomb them!

I take anything I hear with a grain of salt these days--sadly, and that goes for democrats and republicans.

Dear Alice,

Does that go for Mr. Trump as well? smile

Certainly, your late-night comedians are having a field day with The Donald.

There was one skit where a look-alike Trump actor was asked by Hillary about his position on women's issues. And he responded by saying that he knew a lot of women and that they all had issues . . .

The one thing about politics that never changes is that it is all about power, money and influence.

Doing the right ("correct") thing never enters into it.

That's not being cynical. That's being realistic about politics and politicians - in all countries.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko spoke at the U.N., as RISU reports, and called into some question the veracity of Mr. Putin's desire to combat terrorism.

"How can he (Putin) say that he wants to establish a coalition against terrorism when he himself supports terrorism within his neighbour country (Ukraine)? How can he say he supports democracy when he refuses to respect the democratic elections of that same country?"

"What kind of Gospel is he preaching with such lies?"
