Christ is in our midst!!

In two days, the people of the United States will observe our annual Thanksgiving Day. I want to wish all my brethren in this country a happy day. Despite all that may be wrong in our country, there are so many things to be thankful for. If not, why are so many people trying to move to this country?

As Christians, we ought to be thankful, too, always and in all ways. Jesus Christ is still in charge here and hereafter, allowing nothing to happen to any of us, knowing that everything happens for some good that He alone may know.

So let's all remember to be thankful to Him every day, every hour and every minute.

Bob

Indeed!

A very happy and blessed Thanksgiving to you, Bob, and to all our forum friends!

Let us all never forget to look at those things which we have to be thankful for (since we all tend to focus on those things which are negative in our lives).

With best regards to all,
Alice smile

This was my first Orthodox Thanksgiving...the "Glory to God for all things" Akathist of Thanksgiving last evening, served by a visiting Priest who had been schooled at a Choir College; and a feast that nearly rivaled Pascha served by one of our godparent families.
