Listening to a supplication service from Athens to St. Nektarios today, live from Greece, I noticed that the petition changed a bit since a few years ago...
Whereas it once said (in translation)--'against every threat of invasion, we pray to the Lord',
it now said: 'against Islamic threat, we pray to the Lord'.
Indeed, Lord have mercy.

The Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky reigned for about five months in 1918. His last surviving daughter died recently. There is a man in Canada claiming to be the son of Hetman Pavlo's son, Danylo, who was killed by the Soviets in England. From what I know, nobody in the family recognizes the claims of this man, Borys.
