Glory to Jesus Christ!

Does anybody have any information regarding whether the Great Dismissal at Matins/Orthros should be omitted if Divine Liturgy follows immediately? I believe I have experienced this at Greek Orthodox parishes.

Yes if services are served one after another the dismissal is done at the final service

The Litany and final prayers of the Great Dismissal are usually prayed quietly by the Priest and Deacon during the Great Doxology.

On rare occasions, such the pending First Saturday of Souls the Great Doxology is spoken by the Chanter or Reader and these prayers are then offered audibly including the dismissal "May Christ our true God....". The Divine Liturgy then begins with "Bless, Father!"
