Hey y'all, the day before Palm Sunday, I was walking home from church from the Vigil Mass, and I slipped and fell. It didn't hurt at the time, but, when I got home and took my shoes off, it hasn't stopped hurting since. There is a chance I will need surgery. Whether I do or not, please pray for me.

Prayers for your healing! I almost lost a toe due to a severe bone infection.

My wife was terribly worried my toe would have to be amputated but in the end it wasn\t.

I consoled her by telling her not to be so "lack-toes intolerant!"

Hey y'all, sorry it took a while to reply, but, I had some x rays, and the doc thinks the bone, well, became separated from my foot. I have a medical boot right now, and I may or may not need surgery. Thanks for y'alls prayers!

Hey y'all, it's increasingly looking like I am going to have to have surgery. It doesn't seem to be healing.

Keep us updated so we can say a prayer for your surgery... It sounds like a freak thing. I am sure that surgery will help. You have been suffering for a while now. 😢

Hey y'all, I have the information I need for treatment, so, I am going to see what happens, now. There are some days when it's not so bad. There's days when I am in tears. (keep in mind, I've been stabbed, and it hurts worse than that, at least that pain stopped). I don't mind pain so much, but constant pain in my foot, which I walk on, isn't great. It feels like there's constantly a shard of glassed on the top of my foot beneath the skin. I thank y'all for your prayers, but please, continue praying. I can walk short distances okay, but, it's easier for me to walk than to stand.

I hope that many prayers here will be lifted up for your health.

Hey y'all, so, I need a CT scan, and probably surgery (I went to the doctor today). I don't really have a way to pay for it (I MIGHT be able to pay for the CT scan). I am not (nor would I) asking for money, but, I am asking for your prayers so I can get help with money.

Hey y'all, I got a call back from the indigent care people. They think my doctor was the name of the office where I SEE my doctor (I never said that). It's annoying, but it's something, and it's a start.

For reasons beyond me, the hospital sent me a letter that said my case is closed.
In spite of never having been seen by the hospital. It's a vicious circle, y'all.

Thank you very much. I'm having trouble getting help. A hospital closed my case without ever seeing me. Admitted they were wrong, and I've heard nothing else from them. I tried to go through voc rehab, but my autism spectrum diagnosis is too old (never mind the fact it doesn't go away...), and my podiatrist was too vague. The injury doesn't show up on x rays, and I don't have money for a CT scan.
I've been going bald for years, but, honestly, I think it's going a little faster right now.
Oh well, at least it's not me pulling my hair, though I want to.

Hey y'all! So, an update 1) I have to go the bank Monday, to fix my bank account, my debit card expired and I did not know that. 2) I now have health insurance, but it won't pay for the surgery. That said, I SHOULD be able to get a CT scan, which can help me get a desk job in the meantime. 3) I don't think I ever mentioned this, but, I do have forms I need to send to the state of South Carolina for disability, and, 4) HOPEFULLY finally get my surgery.
Y'alls prayers have helped more than I can even say. Even if I don't always feel it.

Hey y'all, I have an appointment to see a specialist on Tuesday, but I will probably have to delay it. It's $90, even with insurance, and I just don't have the money for it.
