I read this reply with a metaphorical mouth agape... Dr. K's reply is precisely why the emailer should remain Copt, in my opinion. The TLM this person wants to participate in is basically forbidden, Dr. K seems to imply "female ministries" in the East is in any way similar to the debacle occurring in the Roman Church and other Roman imitating Eastern Catholic Churches.. and Dr K's final salutation is one of the things the emailer seems to be finding theologically abhorrent .. any thoughts? I tried to comment at the site, but it seems to be locked

Bizarre indeed.

Within the modern Roman Church, attending a Traditional Latin Mass community is akin to attending an hedge school in British-occupied Ireland. You are an enemy in your own country. The Vatican has taken extraordinary measures to SUPPRESS traditional worship in its OWN Church. That is absolutely bizarre, that a Church would persecute its most faithful members.

TLM is an emotional matter; I feel the draw every now and then.
