Hello! My name is Adam, and I am from South Carolina (though, I have lived elsewhere). My first experience with Eastern Catholic liturgy was at St. Ignatios of Antioch Melkite Catholic church in Augusta, Georgia. I was invited by the late Fr. Deacon Robert Pride while in the line for confession (seriously!) I was there, most recently, for Pascha. I am a convert from what I like to call "secular Buddhism". So, basically, western New Age version of Buddhism. I do regularly say the Jesus prayer, and I have a very positive opinion of Eastern Christianity.

Hey Adam,
I am a long time viewer of the ByzCath Forum. I have been to St. Ignatios of Antioch only once. It’s a little bit of a drive for me, roughly 30 minutes, was wondering if I could contact you about it. I am currently in RCIA, but I’m kinda of discerning about switching and going into the catechism in an Eastern Catholic Church.
