Dear Friends in Christ,
Please forgive my rudeness in not writing before now to thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I have developed congestive heart failure and am stable, am exercising and doing what I need to do.
The numbness in my left hand and foot is subsiding but it makes typing with both hands difficult.
My doctors say they are amazed at my recovery and I keep telling them it is thanks to God via the Byzantine Prayer Thread!
This is all very sobering. Prayer and time with the Lord occupies me but I have come to realize how much more I hunger for God.
What was turning to God through fear of sudden death has transformed into a deep desire for communion with the Most Holy Trinity, the Mother of God and the Saints.
