Hello,
I'm a byzantine Catholic in the US. My sui iurus church does not have a hierarchy here, so I fall under the jurisdiction of the Latin Bishop.

Have any Byzantine Rite Catholics in a similar situation (e.g., under the juridical care of the Latin Church) been able to get married (or have children baptized and chrismated) in a Byzantine Rite service, without relying on the sui iurus church of their fiance?

If so, how? What was the process and timeline for this? Do you have any recommendations for how to deal with this?

Thank you,
Katherine
