Hello friends. First post on here but I have been strengthened by the wisdom of a lot of you and have prayed over some of the requests here. I am looking for prayer today. Just a few days ago I found out that my dad has passed on. He had battled with Parkinson’s and through the Grace of the Lord, he was spared the worst of it. His passing was still unexpected and unprepared for. I am beside myself with grief. I am in my late twenties and he was in his early 60’s. Though I know confidently that God’s plans are much higher than my own, it feels so difficult to grasp that I should lose him so early. Please pray that through this taste of grief I would become closer to Christ as a Man acquainted with grief and that I be given wisdom through the Spirit in dealing with the lack of a designated will system which my dad had not prepared. Thank you to all who will be joining me in prayer.

All Glory to God,
Austin

May his memory be eternal, and may he rest in peace! I know what it's like to lose a father, and prayers for you, your family, and your dad's repose during this time. My father died when I was nine. You're doing the right thing by asking for prayers.
