Hello friends,
This is my first post on here. I am a Roman Catholic high school student who has found himself enamored by the beauty and antiquity of Eastern Christian tradition (though I contend that the West has its charms, too :D), but I know very little and have very much to learn. I was raised in a household where the prevalent spiritual environment was new-age spirituality; Christianity was given no consideration besides as a "legend blown out of proportion". I came to know Christ in September of last year, and I was received into the Church through the sacraments of initiation on August 16th. At this point I am doing my best to heighten my understanding of Scripture, Tradition, Church history, and theology, while also remaining diligent in my vocation as a student.
I ask that you all would pray for me, but also for my unbelieving family and for my unbelieving friends, that they may come to set their hearts on knowing God and would increase in the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
