Christ is Risen!!
Lust is a thorn in the side of every person as long as he is alive. It takes many forms: fleshly lust is only one. Remember the Lenten Prayer of St. Ephraim the Syrian? He speaks there of "lust of power," that is, control over others for one's own benefit and at the expense of others. Lust is a powerful force that springs from the primary sin--pride.
I suggest the path I've used: regular confession, a prayer of penitence, and a prayer I've written for my own use.
"Lord, purge my mind, my heart, and my memory. Make the soul-destroying passions pf my body to die. Drive the Wicked Enemy away from me, my house, my car, the places I frequent, the places I live and work and relax, by the Power and Breath of Your Holy Spirit. Have mercy me this day, all day, every day, especially on the day I must meet You face to face to give account of my life and also on the day of Your Divine and Awesome Final Judgment. Amen."
