My post was not about "juridical persons" but rather about approval of legal recognition being given to arrangements whose purpose is to facilitate acts which are objectively gravely sinful and "in no wise to be approved."

To admit that homosexual acts are contrary to both natural and divine law and at the same time to approve of unions organized for their promotion is ludicrous, besides being contrary to common decency.

How come? Most people on this site believe (or at least are supposted to belive) that remarriage after divorce are against divine law too, but somehow, people don't seem to see heterosexual remarriage after heterosexual divorce as big a threath to heterosexual marriage as homosexual civil union...

By your reasoning it would be ludicrous and contrary to common decency to be against a constitutional amendment to ban remarriage after divorce...

You do you really think the government should ban remarriage? If not, why not? I wonder why, could it possibly be because of political oppotunitism, rather than true devotion to Christian morality??

I've done a little research into metaphysical sexuality. I see homosexuality to be an extention of masterbation. Most people are partially Bisexual, but choose the oppisite sex. Should we then be condeming adolosents? No because it's a normal part of the path to sexual maturity.
Who is without sin? Who is mature in all aspects of life? I can't spell very well for example and I tend to interrupt during conversation and I drive like a taxi driver. Just those above disqualify me from certian jobs.
As far as I know celebates don't masterbate or have sexual relations, so sexual orientation is of little differance to a true celabate.
I do think there should be a distinction between long term relationships that produce children or intend to produce children and relationships for just sex and/or companinship.

I hope this adds something to this thread.

Well, it adds another departure from the Apostolic Tradition...
