Incognitus This is true. That is why I only support individual candidates and only donate money to individual candidates. I do not support a party nor do I donte to a party. I am only registered in a certain party as in my State you are only allowed to vote in a primary for the party you are registered in. If you do not register a party affilation then you can not vote in the primaries.

To me that more than implies that the tent has been closed up until this point to support of pro-life Democrat candidates (except perhaps in local elections). Granted, he blames the republicans for painting the Democratic party as pro-abortion. To my mind the Republican assertion is well founded given the almost unlimited support (both financial and legislative) the Democrat party has made over the years to the abortion industry and the so-called "right" to choose abortion. they are just calling a spade a spade. Dean knows this and is trying to change perceptions. I want to see it turn into action as well, but AGAIN, I think it is a good first step and we should welcome it.

[/b]That I can buy into, it is a first step and if it is followed by action then it is great but this will not change how I respond. Still will only support candidates and give donations to candidates.
