Okay boys and girls, time for us all to step back and regroup.
Michael: the term "Modernism" refers to a heresy in the Church that has never been evident on this board. Thus, the use of the term seems more akin to using a word that is popular in certain conservative circles, but which is rarely used correctly. Alex is right that you owe him an apology.
Alex: you contribute so much to this board and to the Church, but sometimes that very involvement means that you take things a little too personally. Take a deep breath and try to let it go.
Everyone: I am tried of ad hominems being used here. Address the topic and not the posters or any supposed attitude.

Dear Father Deacon,
Very good advice. [...taking a deep breath.]
I see that some of my posts have gone 'missing in action'. Since I am an offender, I apologize.

Dear Fr. Deacon,
Ahhh . . . AH!
That was a good deep breath - things look brighter now!
I've let go of everything, and that feels great too!
God bless!
Alex

Father Deacon,
I should apologize also. I should have gone a bit slower in responding. Patience is one of those virtues I need to cultivate!

Fr. Deacon Edward, Moderator [/b] I used a word that is used in certain conservative circles and used incorrectly and in a way that has not been used here and I apologize for that. mc
