The Site you listed is not part of the AOC but belongs to a Western Rite under the Synod of Milan. It is not in full communion with Orthodox Patriarchates... That's 100% true, but it's in the same boat as all Orthodoxy, it's not in communion with Rome. Hmmm...is their Western liturgy development "organic" like apparently it's supposed to be? It did develope over a period of 1000 years until replaced by more Latin forms.
Abba Isidore the Priest: When I was younger and remained in my cell I set no limit to prayer; the night was for me as much the time of prayer as the day. (p. 97, Isidore 4)

Regarding the training of Western Rite Antiochian Clergy, they study in St. Stephen's and the Antiochian House of Studies, just like any other Antiochian Orthodox candidates for major orders. In fact, even the Antiochian students studying at St. Vlad's and Holy Cross (or St. Tikhon's and St. Andrew's, for that matter) are required to attend the House of Studies at Ligonier in the Fall. Archbishop Antony of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA also requires his candidates to attend the House of Studies. I must say that the fellowship between the Antiochian and Ukrainian students is absolutely great! Of course, there are some students from other jurisdictions as well.
Alex can attest the historical ties between the Antiochian Patriarchate and the Ukrainian Church. The ties between the two in Canada are such that the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church of Canada in its founding stages (former name, of course) was under the jurisdiction of an Antiochian bishop. Relations in Montreal are still very, very close. Of course, the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch just visited the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. In my humble opinion (Three Cents worth), the Antiochian school of Eastern and Byzantine Christian thought (personified by Sts. John Chrysostom and John of Damascus) is again asserting itself, prayfully (and hopefully) to the betterment of all.

Dear Three Cents,
Yes, absolutely!
Where would the Ukrainian Orthodox be today without help from their brothers of the Antiochian Orthodox Church?
St Raphael Hawaweeny of Brooklyn was himself trained at Kyiv, prayed in Church Slavonic and even defined himself as a spiritual citizen of "Orthodox Rus."
The Antiochians always had such spiritual citizens among their numbers.
In addition, the way they welcome other Churches, liturgical traditions and peoples into their fold is truly remarkable - and truly Christian.
No wonder they have the Evangelical Orthodox mission outreach and two Western Rites represented within its jurisdiction.
I understand there is also an independent Lutheran group that is following Orthodoxy and is seeking eventual union with the Antiochian Church as well.
The Polish National Catholic Church and the Anglican Catholic Church are also in informal talks with Antioch - the place where the term "Christian" was first coined and the first major See established by St Peter himself.
God bless His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch and his entire Church and God-loving people!
Alex
