Dear Ed, Of course Vatican II was not exclusive to the Latin church, i never implied that it was. You are correct that decree on the Eastern churches is a bright spot of the council. I stated that the "sickness" was in the Latin church, and to deny this "sickness" one must have their face in the sand. The Latin Church since the council is in a state of crisis. This crisis has been aknowledged by Paul VI, and not a few byzanitne priests i have spoken with agree. I did not intend to offend you, i only meant to state a fact.
Thank you for the info on Holy St. George.

Dear Ed,
Thank you for the bio, and information on Saint George. I often forget the Cath. Encyclopedia. Good source, thanks.

Hi K,
Your welcome about the info on St. George. Please excuse my reaction to your statements. I just get exhausted at our super conservative attitudes sometimes. I am one of those who viewed Vatican II as our new life celebration, sort of a Pascal. I still love the spirit of Vatican II. It was open, loving and attempted to be a positive force in the Church and the World. Perhaps it did not achieve all that it promised but I have faith in that it will someday. The Church, Roman or Eastern will not die. The Roman Church might be in crisis but it is through crisis that growth comes... Like the song: "without clouds the joy in life will not show..." Be patient with me and I will try to be patient with you (I don't guarantee it however as patience is a virtue that I still need to learn. :>)
Ed
PS I enjoyed your website.
