Dear friends,

Here, in English, is a calendar of Old Believer Saints and Martyrs . . .

There's a new book out about Solovetskii that's on my long, long list of things to read.

Dear Diak,

Yes, but the calendar I found is a listing of ONLY Old Believer Saints, including priestless ones! (I'm not kidding).

The Erie calendar has NO Old Believer Saints . . .

Correct as usual, Pan Doktor. What is in the Erie prayer book is only the existing liturgical calendar at the time of the Nikonian reforms. Archpriest Avakuum isn't even on it.

Mnogaya Leta to Nikita for his Synaxis site. smile

Glory to God for all things! We pray that Nikita will add some further work - it would be good to have the service for Saint Ambrose of Belaia Krinitsa.

Dear Incognitus,

It is printed in Slavonic on another Old Rite site, which you doubtless know about.

I've not seen it in English.

No service to "St Taras Shevchenko" either! smile

(O.K., enough with that already.)
