My great grandfather was a 33rd degree and my family has passed the handshakes down to me. Thx.

Abba Isidore the Priest:
When I was younger and remained in my cell I set no limit to prayer; the night was for me as much the time of prayer as the day.

I would like to ask the administrator to consider closing this topic. I believe that it serves no helpful purpose to bash groups that don't even participate within this forum. Even those who think they know all about freemasonry here don't necessarily know the "craft". Fact-finding needs to go elsewhere. Resulting questions after fact-finding about masonry would be better off referred to a spiritual advisor, not the forum.

Dear in Christ,

I would tend to agree, that this forum is not the place to "bash" anyone, even those with whom Eastern Christians would (and it seems, should) fundamentally disagree.

I am sure there are wonderful source books available in the library, and probably even 'internet resources' available about Freemasonry. Most of us here are not experts in this, and so this is probably not the best place to ask for information about the Masons.

I would suggest Odo look to these sources, and also seek out his own Spiritual Father or pastor for advice about the invitation he has received.

with prayers,

Elias
