Dear Friends,

[Linked Image]I suppose the motto needs to be "Trust, but Verify". Unfortunately, there have been Priests who have cooked the books. Recently the RC Diocese of Arlington had a Pastor charged with embezzlement.

One suggestion I have to offer is to have a community yard sale, rent spaces for 20 bucks and the vendor keeps the profits.

Have a Blessed Day!

Nah, my parish doesn't have any financial advisors. We don't even have a parish council.

We do have 2 "trustees" that have been there forever. Supposedly because no one else wants the job but, it's probably because they won't stand-up to the priest.

The last trustee who took a stand against the priest was only their for a year and was replaced with one of these guys.

Oh, and our priest is the Dean....
