If people don't have Vatican documents, all this can be summed up by a link to http://www.geocities.com/wmwolfe_48044/EC_Links.html and then go down to the document entitled "Orientale Ecclesiarum." Is this document the primary reason you are Eastern or rather Byzantine Catholic? How did this influence you so? Btw, doesn't this document pertain to all the Eastern Catholic Churches? I'm confused, why did this make you "Byzantine" Catholic. Please elaborate if interested.

Dear Ghazar,
Vatican 2 is not why I am an eastern catholic, the reason is baptism. The reason why I am a proud eastern catholic is Vatican 2.If you are baptised(or converted} an eastern catholic then yes it pertains to you also. The night I posted that I had just returned from an adoration chapel which I visited with a good friend of mine who is roman catholic.I noticed the book on a shelf and upon remembering all the discussions on the forum I turned to the section listed under eastern churches.Upon reading it I was rocketed on a spiritual high and wanted to re-unite the church in 5 minutes. But in reality the most I could do that night was pray and post something on the forum.I highly reccomend reading it.Please go to a library or church and sit down and read it.Do not read excerpts off the computer that is saturated with other information and opinion.Take out 15 minutes of your time and read an ole fashioned book.I promise you will be less confused and should feel good that our church promotes unity.

Dear Michael,
This sounds nice. Actually it is because I have read it sevreral times that I linked it to my web-site. If you take the time to see what I have there you will see it is far from being "excerpts off the computer that is saturated with other information and opinion." Rather it is the entire document without any foreign "saturations," smile and therefore it is the equivalent of reading a good ole' fashion book. Except, in this case, as was the whole purpose for posting the link above, it has the further benefit of being free and readily available to anyone who wishes to read it (which I thought was the whole reason you listed out all those pages in the first place).

Dear Hagop (Armenian for James),

I'm interested in learning more. Are you currently visiting an Eastern Catholic parish? Are you in the process of transferring from the Latin Church to an Eastern Catholic one? What peaked your interest in Eastern Christianity?

Brother Gharza,

Its simple, why would someone start looking else where ? Lack of faith in the existing, maybe 15 years ago I started searching but was side tracked. I again started a year ago and found the Eastern Catholic Church, imagine not knowing of the existence after all those years. I find the Liturgy as well as the prayers more spiritual and meaning full and the Easterns hold their traditions, the Roman Rite has made too many changes, trying to appease man instead of God.

I plan to change when I am near a Eastern Catholic Church.
