The great hope of equality for the Eastern Cathoiic Churches that was so much the promise of Vatican II has been repeatedly sacrificed on the altar of "ostpolitik" and Roman dicastrial expediency. The situation of the Russian Greek-Catholics is juat another example of an endless and tiresome litany of discrimination. "How long, O Lord, how long..."
