Dear Friends,

I overreacted about the papal approval of one of our new bishops.

I had no right to question the patriarchal basis of our Church and I should not have given the impression that Rome will not ever recognize it.

I'm sensitive about it, but I should not have overreacted.

I apologise to Diak and the Crew of St Elias in Brampton for any and all offense given.

Alex
Dear Alex,

I read your responses on the thread "New Toronto Bishop" and didn't find anything offensive or even incorrect [you have been wrong at least once wink ].

Christ is Risen!

Andrew
Dear Alex:

You take too much upon yourself, you have nothing to apologize for.

All you are doing is providing the words to the thoughts of many.

I have never had any doubt of your belief or the trueness of your cause.

Patience, Patience.

Christ is Risen.

Dear Andrew and Jose,

Well, God bless you both, is all I can say . . . smile

Christos Voskrese!

Dohori Brat Oleksandr, there is no offence taken and no need to ever apologize for stating reality. I also don't think you overreacted. Reality sometimes is like stepping in something you would rather not step, in but you can't deny it is on your shoes smile .

I know you well enough to know where you are coming from and call you brother. We amongst the "virtual soglasie" need to stick together, you know! wink

Smertyu smert poprav.
Alex:

Christos Voskrese!

I'd much prefer you give us an "apologia" for your reaction rather than an expression of regret and a request for forgiveness.

In my opinion, the Byzantine Catholic Church could use a lot more men like you -- men who not only know and can articulate the truth but are passionate about achieving it.

Many years, Alex! Na mnohaja i blahaja l'ita!

In Christ,
Theophilos
