I would be grateful if you would keep Jean in your prayers.

She has just been admitted to a Hospice in England having battled AML since December 2008.

No further treatment is now possible and Jean herself has said she will not be leaving the Hospice - she knows it is a matter of time , though the length is unknown.

I would also ask for your prayers for her husband Derek and their family.

Belinda [ their daughter ] is devastated at the moment , still in denial , and cannot believe or accept that her mother will die.

Lord have mercy

My unworthy yet heartfelt prayer for your friend, Jean...and her husband Derek and daughter Belinda...

May our Lord grant strength and comfort to all at this very difficult time...and may He also grant many spiritual graces and blessings to Jean, but also to those who love her. Amen.

In Christ,
Alice

Hebrews 13:5 - "...for he hath said: I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

Prayers for the family, and especially for Belinda.

Prayers for the grieving family.

Matt. 11:[28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
