New Archbishop of Athens and All Greece is His Beatitude Ieronymos 

New York – As soon as His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America was informed of the election of the new Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, he sent a congratulatory letter in the name of the Eparchial Synod of the Holy Archdiocese of America and on behalf of the Omogeneia. In the message the Archbishop stated, among other things:

 “We join our congratulations with a fervent supplication to the Lord our God, Who has called you to shepherd His flock, that you may enjoy unfaltering health, strength of body and soul, wisdom from on high, and abundant peace as your perform  the complex and substantive tasks of your work as Archbishop of Athens and All Greece. Joachim and Anna Rejoice
