Dear Forum Brothers & Sisters, Today, August 9th, I have my first six-month check up since completing my radiation for prostate cancer. I wasn't worried at all, but then my boss (who had his prostate removed) went found out at his check-up that the cancer had spread...and THAT bothered me. So please pray that if it is HIS will...I will be found healthy? Thank you. I greatly appreciate it.

Lord, look with favor on the health of our beloved Archimandrite Gregory, Your priest and servant; guide his physicians that they may be skillful and knowledgeable in their examination of him; and, in Your Goodness and Mercy, may he be found to be free of disease, so that he may serve You, leading his earthly flock in prayers and worship and understanding of You, helping we of his internet flock to better know and understand each other to Your Glory, and tending those of Your peoples to whom he devotes his skills and knowledge in meeting their temporal needs, for many long and fruitful years.

Dear Forum Family, +May the LORD reward your great kindness to me and to all for whom you pray! Later today (Aug. 10th) the doctor said I can call for the results of my PSA blood work...so I'll let you know the news...but in the meantime, I'm sooooooooooo strengthened by your prayers that I'm not worried now---whatever the results are, it will be OK.

8:30 AM---later: The Doctor called with the results because he was afraid that I'd freak if I called and heard 3.0 for PSA score after radiation. He said it was within a decent range and they're looking for a lower score over the 'longterm' anyway and not to worry. He'll see me in six months. So, as always...much reason to hope and even MORE to pray harder!
