Does anybody know what happened to the Eparchy of Newton's website at www.melkite.org? [melkite.org]

I clicked on a link to it before, and "Tracey Gunderson for School Board" came up. confused

I clicked on your link and got the same thing!

However, once I deleted the question mark I got the right site. I didn't know that question marks were usable in URL's!

Your friend Michael

David,

I am getting the same site as you, even after deleting the ? as Michael did. And, if I try to go to any of the subordinate pages, I am getting a 404 (page not found) message. It was working earlier today; if it's still not functional in the a.m., I'll call the chancery and have them get to our webmaster out in Milwaukee and get it fixed.

Many years,

Neil

Yeah I tried google even using Eparchy of Newton and got that web page. Don't suppose that could be someone overiding the diocese web page do you? Neil maybe you can check tomorrow.

Dave,

The problem (whatever caused it) is resolved.

Dave,

But the site has now been definitely hacked. I have notified the chancery again and suggested that some security measures be installed on it.

Dave,

The site is back and I am informed by the webmaster that security safeguards have been put in place
