Hi all,

I have two questions:

(1) Can anyone recommend a good Orthodox forum besides www.orthodoxchristianity.net [orthodoxchristianity.net] ? Their forum is down right now for maintenance.

(2) Where was the thread that appeared recently at this forum, about which Orthodox jurisdictions are doing well in the U.S. ?

Thank you.

John,

In answer to your questions, I can say that www.monachos.net [monachos.net] is an excellent Orthodox Christian forum. The answer to your other question to the best of my knowledge is no.

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

John:

This is an Orthodox forum, with a Byzantine accent! smile

But if you want a faster-paced discussion on (Eastern) Orthodoxy, try the Eastern Christianity subforum of Catholic Answers.

There are a handful of OC.net prominent members slugging it out with Eastern and Latin Catholics, especially with the latter! wink

Amado,

You, my beloved brother, are such a cynic eek

John, dear friend,

The EC forum at CA is moderated by a close personal friend of mine and is regularly visited by several members from here. Most use the same or a similar nick there, so they're easy to spot (Michael/Hesychios, Al/a pilgrim, Marduk/Mardukm, Rose/Pani Rose, Anton/AntonI, Dan/Carson Dan Lauffer - Gregory Palamas over there, IIRC, Bob/Orthodoc, Deacon Ed, Amado, and myself; and I know that I've left out several more - cause I'm old and tired shocked ).

It can be a bit fierce there at times, but the regs - EC, EO, OC, and OO - are a pretty cohesive lot.

(I too miss oc.net though frown , whenever it's down - altho I don't post there as often as I should.)

Many years,

Neil
