I know that excess weight can literally be a handicap to a person for a myriad of reasons; physical, psychological and social.
I pray for you and for all who are in despair over their weight and that our Lord, the great Enlightener, will give you and whoever else is in the same predicament, the supernatural strength, discipline, commitment and knowledge that is needed for this goal.

Gordo Gordo, if you shed the pounds you will have to change your name. "Gordo" is the Spanish term of endearment for one who is chubby. I guess you'll be known as "Flaco", ie, the Spanish term of endearment for one who is on the thin side.
